The cedar plank gave me another layer of flavour to the salmon. I soaked the plank for the same length of time that I dry cured and dried the salmon. After leaving the salmon in the fridge for 48 hours I placed it on the plank adorned with some fresh herbs and grated lemon zest. I’m convinced that I can get away with being able to reuse each piece at least another twice. Very happy with this product.

Good size chunks and produced some lovely smoke for my pork ribs

Wood is all good. Great for using in my smoker. Only criticism is box they arrived in. Too thin so the boxes were split and barely intact. Delivery people had to tape them together. But decent quality wood, burns nicely.
